Throughout his 20-year career in the electronic media Frank has broadcast unparalleled brilliance from every major sports event on the planet including: FIFA World Cup (Korea), Olympic Games (Spain), World Rally (China), FIBA World Cup (Argentina) and Cock Fighting World Cup (Guam).
It all started in Sydney radio where Frank gained a huge following via his humourous comments and gimmick character ‘the inflatable sports reporter‘ which featured on 2MMM’s, top rating Breakfast Show until 1993. His signature cries of ‘mateeey’ and ‘put your house on it’, are still widely used.
In 1996, following a highly successful, #1 rating stint with 2DAY FM’s, Morning Crew, Frank switched to television, joining Network 7’s national news team.
When Australia’s newl
y launched cable television network Fox Sports came knocking Frank had no hesistation in taking up the challenge. The Black Rat’s final stop in Oz television was Network Ten the motor racing network. As part of a star studded line-up featuring Barry Sheene and Daryl Beattie, Frank ‘rev head’ Vincent continued to push the boundaries.
Since moving to Amsterdam in 2004, Frank has kept the cool stuff comin’ eventually landing his dream gig of football commentator in 2008. As the voice of Dutch football, Frank provides live play-by-play commentary on the Eredivisie Competition which can be heard weekly on networks like ESPN UK, USA & Asia; Setanta Sports Australia and Al Jazeera.
